The chemistry was better than being called into the principal’s office with Charlie Gibson. But Sarah Palin’s interview with Katie Couric, was every bit as painful to watch. She was all “Golly” and “Gosh.” And clearly faking it. Scary stuff.

  1. Sarah Palin is setting the women’s movement back decades. She personifies the stereotypical role of woman as primarily a supporter – “Stand by Your Man” (right or wrong). Mc Caine needed her charisma, her beauty, her presentation, ignoring her provincial life experience; the fact that she advanced on the coattails of powerful men.
