Anne’s Latest Lapse

Vampire novelist Anne Rice was big news in the Vatican when she returned to her Catholic roots a few years back. But the lapsed Catholic has had a relapse. The democrat-voting, vampire-slaying writer has decided that the Roman church––and Christianity at large–– is just too anti-woman, anti-gay and anti-progress. Or is it that her Jesus books didn’t sell as well as her bloodsucker chronicles? Or maybe she just assumes that the Risen Christ is only the Lord of all  until we choose to drive a stake into his heart.
